Helping young people build confidence, resilience, and emotional wellness
I’m passionate about helping adolescents and young adults navigate the challenges that come with growing up, finding their place in the world, and becoming the person they want to be.

My approach
Meeting you where you are.
I believe therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who genuinely listens, cares, and meets you where you are.
For many years, I’ve worked closely with middle and high school students, supporting them through anxiety, ADHD, academic stress, relationship challenges, family conflict, life transitions, identity, sexual orientation, self-acceptance and the ups and downs that often accompany these important stages of development.
Belong
Every oak tree begins with strong roots. In the same way, growth starts with feeling safe, accepted, and understood. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself, explore life’s challenges, and know you don’t have to face them alone.
Become
The journey from adolescence into adulthood brings opportunities for growth, self-discovery, and change. Together, we’ll explore your values, identity, and goals while building confidence in the person you’re becoming.
Blossom
With support, insight, and resilience, meaningful growth becomes possible. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, navigate life’s challenges, and move forward with greater confidence, balance, and hope.
For parents & families
A safe space for your teen. Support for you.
I recognize that when a young person is struggling, parents often carry their own worries and uncertainties. I strive to partner with families in a way that supports both the adolescent’s need for a safe, trusting therapeutic space and the parent’s desire to help their child thrive.
For your teen
A safe, trusting space to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly, without judgment.
For you
Support, guidance, and practical tools to help your child thrive.
If you’ve found yourself here, chances are something in life feels heavier than it should right now.
If you’re a parent
Maybe you’re a parent watching your child struggle with anxiety, ADHD, emotional ups and downs, school stress, or challenges with friendships and self-confidence. Perhaps you’ve been trying to help, but nothing seems to be making a lasting difference.
If you’re a teen or young adult
Or maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, constantly worried, unsure of who you are, or wondering why things that seem easy for everyone else feel so difficult for you.
Whatever has brought you here, I’m glad you found your way to Three Oaks Wellness.
I believe that every person deserves a space where they can feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.
Therapy isn’t about fixing who you are. It’s about creating room to better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and find healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges.
My background
Throughout my career as a school social worker, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families through a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, ADHD, emotional and behavioral challenges, school-related stress, family transitions, social difficulties, life changes, and identity exploration. Working in schools has given me a unique perspective on the pressures young people face today and the impact those challenges can have both at home and in the classroom.
My approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, whether they’re ready to talk openly or need time to build trust first. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s beneath the surface, develop effective coping strategies, strengthen emotional awareness, and build confidence in navigating life’s transitions.
Working with families
I also believe parents play an important role in the therapeutic process. When appropriate, I collaborate closely with families, offering support, guidance, and practical tools while respecting the trust and confidentiality that are essential to helping adolescents feel safe in therapy.
Who I welcome
At Three Oaks Wellness, I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and identities. I have a particular passion for supporting adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional challenges, life transitions, and questions related to identity and self-discovery.
Bilingual & Culturally Responsive Care
I offer therapy services in both English and Spanish and welcome individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. I recognize that culture, family values, identity, and life experiences shape how we experience challenges and connect with others. My goal is to provide a space where you feel understood, respected, and comfortable expressing yourself in the language and cultural context that feels most natural to you.
Sessions are available both in person in Fairfax, Virginia, and through secure telehealth for clients throughout Virginia and Maryland. Whether you’re reaching out for your child, your teen, or yourself, you don’t have to navigate things alone. I’d be honored to support you in taking that next step toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding.
The teen and young adult years are filled with growth, change, and important life transitions. During this time, having a supportive place to pause, reflect, and process life’s challenges can make all the difference. I work alongside teens and young adults to help them better understand themselves, navigate obstacles with confidence, build healthy coping skills, and feel more grounded as they move toward the future they envision for themselves.
Ages 12–19
Teen Therapy
Adolescence is a time of tremendous growth, change, and self-discovery. Therapy can help teens build confidence, manage difficult emotions, improve relationships, and develop healthy coping skills.
The transition into adulthood often brings new responsibilities, uncertainty, and pressure. Whether you’re navigating college, career decisions, relationships, independence, or finding your identity, therapy can help you gain clarity and confidence.
Reaching out can feel like a big step. My goal is to make the process as comfortable as possible and provide a space where you feel welcomed, supported, and understood from the very beginning.
